SV	Hij sloeg de Edomieten in het Zoutdal tien duizend, en nam Sela in met krijg, en noemde haar naam Jokteel, tot op dezen dag.
WLC	הוּא־הִכָּ֨ה אֶת־אֱדֹ֤ום בְּגֵיא־ [הַמֶּלַח כ] (מֶ֙לַח֙ ק) עֲשֶׂ֣רֶת אֲלָפִ֔ים וְתָפַ֥שׂ אֶת־הַסֶּ֖לַע בַּמִּלְחָמָ֑ה וַיִּקְרָ֤א אֶת־שְׁמָהּ֙ יָקְתְאֵ֔ל עַ֖ד הַיֹּ֥ום הַזֶּֽה׃ פ
Trans.	hû’-hikâ ’eṯ-’ĕḏwōm bəḡê’-hammel^aḥ mel^aḥ ‘ăśereṯ ’ălāfîm wəṯāfaś ’eṯ-hassel^a‘ bammiləḥāmâ wayyiqərā’ ’eṯ-šəmāh yāqəṯə’ēl ‘aḏ hayywōm hazzeh:

AC	ז הוא הכה את אדום בגי המלח (מלח) עשרת אלפים ותפש את הסלע במלחמה ויקרא את שמה יקתאל עד היום הזה {פ}
ASV	He slew of Edom in the Valley of Salt ten thousand, and took Sela by war, and called the name of it Joktheel, unto this day.
BE	He put to the sword twelve thousand men of Edom in the Valley of Salt, and took Sela in war, naming it Joktheel, as it is to this day.
